Tyrone chooses to name what many organizations avoid: middle management is too often letting life happen to their teams and their companies, waiting for the pipes to burst so they can rush in and save the day.
He doesn’t see a talent problem. He sees a sleeping giant. The capacity to lead is already there; it just hasn’t been developed. And it won’t be, as long as we keep developing the position while overlooking the person who holds it.
That conviction is the heart of Leadistry: before we develop the position, we must develop the person. Because stronger people become stronger leaders, and stronger leaders build healthier cultures.
